We will help you plan your own detailed itinerary to match your interests, needs and budget. This schedule is anchored around the Kalalau Trail Hike August 5th(Day hike option) through August 9th for those able to get permits* to camp on the trail. Note. Based on days of permit, the itinerary will be fluid. Throughout the week, hiking options will be organized based on access to permits.

Arrive in Lihue, Kauai by evening of August 3rd. Lodge near Lihue. Transport to Na Pali Coast to camp or lodge on the evening of the 4th near Na Pali Coast State Park.  Dinner and programming.

Day 1 – August 5 – Begin Hiking Kalalau Trail to Hanakapi’ai Falls
OPTIONS: Continue to Hanakoa campsite or return as a day hike option.
Day 2  – August 6* – From Hanakoa, on hike to Kalalau Beach campsite, where we will again camp overnight
Day 3  – August 7 – Return to Hanakoa (camping option) or return to Princeville area for lodging (11-mile hike). Single night campers hike to Hanakoa.
Day 4 – August 8 – Return to trailhead, celebration meal, return to Lihue by afternoon

Depart on the evening of August 9th or 10th.

Kalalau Trail on Na Pali Coast – Kauai, Hawaii

Cost Details

Round Trip to Lihue, Kauai. Southwest and other airlines fly to Lihue. Schedule your flight for the 3rd or 4th of August. Please arrive no later than midday on 4th.  Departure no earlier than afternoon of August 9th or on the 10th.

Transport to and around Na Pali Coast State Park area and return to Lihue, $260 per participant. Or organize your own transportation to meet us in the area.

Lodging ranges from camping on the beach with shower facilities to shared or private rooms at modest hotels or luxury accommodations depending on your expectations. Camping (including on the trail)  $25 per night. Shared Room – $150-$175, Luxury – $400 plus. We can organize your lodging based on your expectations, or you can reserve your own lodging for the days you won’t be on the trail.

You are responsible for food. Instructions for what you should bring on the trail will be provided. We will provide a camping stove to heat water for camping meals. A celebration meal on the 3rd night will be organized.

Trail guidance and inclusion in any scheduled wellness programming through trip, $225. $25 Organizing fee.

$25 – $400 per night for lodging – 2 – 6 days based on tailored plan for you
