MBS Fitness is excited to announce a new endeavor in pursuit of our mission to promote health, fitness and overall wellbeing for you—Mind, Body and Soul. MBS Expeditions will take you out of the gym for soul-nourishing adventures in some of the world’s most spectacular and sublime natural areas. Even just 30 minutes in an urban pocket park is good for relieving the stress of everyday life. And research confirms the benefits of a short walk in nature over a similar walk in a lab, the mall or city street. When you’re craving something more than that, MBS has got you covered. Josh has created the first of many adventures to come to stimulate the senses, challenge you physically and mentally, and provide much needed time in nature.

Waimanu - Mauna Loa – Mauna Kea – Big Island

July 28/29 - 8/2, 2021

This adventure will take you to some of the most unforgettable backpacking destinations on the Big Island. The Waimanu Valley trail takes you across rivers and past waterfalls through a steep climb of 7,000 ft. It’s worth the effort to take on this difficult trail to view and feel the landscape up close. At Hawaii Volcano National Park you can experience otherworldly wonders of this UNESCO International Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wrap up the trip with a sunrise summit of Mauna Kea, Hawaii’s highest point.

Kalalau Trail on Na Pali Coast – Kauai, Hawaii

National Geographic named the Kalalau Trail the world’s finest coastal trail. Period. A challenging 11-mile hike takes you past waterfalls, through a lush tropical jungle and along a breathtaking coastline to a golden beach on the Pacific shore. Options to camp overnight or return to town for lodging. We’ll celebrate together the next day before departing.
