Meet Javi Cristerna!

Javi Cristerna started his career as a personal trainer 7 years ago. His focus is on strength training, correcting posture, improving mobility and endurance. He is passionate about creating awareness in people about the importance of being active. He enjoys learning something new every day.

MBS: What made you want to be a personal trainer?

Javi: It started when I made the decision to change my habits and physique, and become a trainer when I discovered that it was my passion for helping people.

MBS: What is your unique approach to your clients?

Javi: I like to offer a training experience personalized to each individual’s needs.

MBS: What advice do you have for people who want to make dramatic changes in their health and wellness?

Javi: Change one behavior at a time to make it a habit.

MBS: What stretch or warm-up/cool-down move should everyone be doing as part of their routine?

Javi: Runner’s stretch, pelvic tilts, lunges, squats, and quad stretches are all great ways to get warmed up!

MBS: What motivates you every day?

Javi: Working with great people in a great culture, learning something new every day, and continuous improvement.

MBS: How do you motivate your clients?

Javi: I help my clients set realistic goals, and be a better person every day.
