Melissa Simmons
Melissa Simmons is passionate about fitness and leadership. She believes that how you do one thing is how you do all things, and that physical activity is a laboratory for personal development. Melissa thrives on personal challenges and has been known to take on big goals such as running a double marathon trail race, rowing a million meters on the C2 rower, and completing 365 days unbroken of over 5K daily steps.
Melissa’s formal education includes an M.S. in Leadership and Change from St. Edward’s University; an MBA, Naval Postgraduate School; a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology, from the University of Michigan. Additionally, she served eight years as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps.
She has over 15 years’ experience coaching a wide range of clients and enjoys finding creative ways to make complex movements accessible to all bodies.
